IQ Partners is traditionally a 'retained' search firm. Our clients engage us exclusively to build their winning organizations and we guarantee our results. We're flexible in how we work and will help you to find the most effective and efficient way to engage our services. An average search requires between 150 - 250 hours of work. Service options include:

Full Service

A Full Service search includes our complete search process. We guarantee the results and will replace unsuccessful candidates for up to 6-months.

For the performance of these services, our fee is typically calculated at 25% of the hired candidate's first year target compensation (or a flat-fee amount tied to the difficulty of your search). We request that 1/3 of our fee be paid in advance with the remainder due upon a successful hire. To ensure we represent your best interest, we will also CAP our percentage-based fees at a pre-stated, mutually agreeable amount.

Any client that engages us on three (3) or more searches during a 3-month period is considered a 'preferred client'. If you engage us on this basis, our fee for each search will be discounted by 10%. For clients engaging us on ten (10) or more searches per year, we will reduce our fees up to 40%.

A la carte

As an alternative to Full Service; clients may engage us on an A la carte basis to execute individual sections of the search process. From Research to Referencing - each part of the process can be broken down and provided on an hourly or project-basis. Our hourly rates are detailed here and projects are quoted individually depending upon scope and difficulty. For a list of our pre-packaged A la carte services click here.

Partner Client Agreements

For clients with ongoing HR requirements our Partner Client Agreements allow us to offer higher levels of service while providing dramatic cost savings (up to 50%). Each agreement is customized to your specific requirement and is designed to deliver you the best return for your money. Additional services are also provided at no additional cost. Contract Placement

We will also place candidates on an interim or Contract basis. In this situation, candidates will either be employed directly by the client or provided to the client as a contract employee of IQ Partners. Fees are calculated as a mark-up of the candidate's compensation rate and vary depending on length of contract and seniority. Please speak to your consultant for more details.
