Every Executive Search project includes extensive upfront work to develop a detailed Opportunity Profile. This becomes the primary marketing document for your assignment. From here, we create a preliminary candidate and target-company list to focus our research. We may also present 1-2 'benchmark candidates' to ensure a consistent focus of our activities.
We then contact and qualify between 100-350 target candidates. Phone screening and verification can lead to between 30-50 in-depth interviews from which we identify the candidate 'short-list'. Our service includes the preparation of candidate assessments, management of the interview process, pre- and post-interview counsel, reference checking and assistance in presenting and closing an offer with your preferred candidate (a far more important step than most companies realize!).
Our process is thorough and there are several elements that are not executed to the same depth, nor sometimes even offered by our competitors:
- We complete a formal briefing documents to deliver a professional presentation of your company and opportunity to prospective candidates
- We qualify and present candidate assessments for each individual presented
- We complete and present formal references on selected candidates
- We formally debrief all non-selected candidates
- We follow-up all placements at 30, 60 and 90 days to ensure a smooth and successful transition into the candidate's new role
