Our client Aquarian Chemicals Inc. is in search for strong Account Manager. They provide a wide variety of Products & Services relating to the water treatment chemical industry. Their facility is located in Oakville, Ontario

Successful candidates will receive a competitive sales compensation plan including base salary, uncapped commissions, an expense allowance and a car allowance.

As an Account Manager, you will have a designated list of existing and net new customer accounts to target. Your primary responsibility is to retain and expand sales revenue in your assigned territory as well as drive new market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize revenue growth in your assigned territory, meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Regular activities include prospecting via phone, e-mail, social media; face-to-face sales calls; follow-up letters/e-mails; interaction with clients and potential clients at sponsored, client-sponsored or industry-sponsored events
  • Achieve and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the full line of products and services
  • Enter client data into CRM system and leveraging the system to generate additional revenue
  • Conduct research in specific industry verticals and on clients within your defined account list
  • Project management of all client jobs, serve as a first point of contact for all customer requirements
  • Work collaborative with operations, sales support and national accounts to ensure total client satisfaction
  • Accurate completion of paperwork including client job tickets, referrals and activity logs
  • Participate in and complete all applicable training -- including ongoing skill and knowledge development beyond initial sales training

Education:

  • College or University degree preferred

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of outside business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience in a fast paced, high activity outside sales environment
  • Experience with services vs. products preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to build strong business relationships quickly and effectively
