We are looking for a Bilingual Key Account Manager to be based out of the Toronto office, servicing the Quebec market. In this role, you will be responsible for the retention and growth of a key existing retail client base, driving quality business, and the implementation and management of specific loyalty programs to deliver on executional excellence.

Responsibilities:

Building and growing customer relationships to drive quality business:

  • Support the development of growth strategies and new program proposals for the key retail client within the Quebec region
  • Support in the sell-through of new programs for the key retail client within the Quebec region
  • Support in the sales process for prospects/new clients
  • Daily interaction and strengthen communication lines to develop relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Lead during strategic client reviews/presentations
  • Develop and support the sell-through of value-added solutions to drive growth and ensure program success
  • Leading on the internal approval process for new sales opportunities

Implementation of client specific programs:

  • Co-/development of client projections 
  • Co-/creation of client contracts & negotiations
  • Concept development of key communication for all program POS and promotional materials as part of the client marketing plan
  • Development of client operational and supply chain procedures and tools
  • Leading program training meetings

Management of client specific programs:

  • Monitoring client re-projections
  • RE-forecasting and program supply chain management with external stake holders
  • Risk management & problem solving
  • Sales analysis of customer data
  • Weekly / bi-weekly reporting and program reviews with external stake holders
  • Managing program budget & flow of A/R
  • Program evaluation and clean-up
  • Market research with 3rd party agencies
  • Vendor events

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual and professional proficiency in English and French
  • University degree in Business Administration or Marketing
  • More than 3 years’ experience in a sales/account management role (in an international/retail environment is preferable)
  • Experience and understanding in brand, loyalty marketing, CRM, and data-driven marketing solutions
  • Proficient in the use of office software (MS Office)
  • Confident presenter and communicator
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys client-facing
  • Strong follow-up skills, diligent
  • Excellent analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Strong time-management skills with ability to multi task
  • Solution-oriented, pro-active, think outside-the-box mentality
  • A team player but works well independently
  • Works well under pressure
  • Frequent travel required
