The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Archmill House will play a critical role in overseeing all financial operations, strategic planning, and financial decision-making processes. Their expertise and leadership will contribute to the achievement of Archmill’s business goals and the sustainable growth of Archmill’s organization. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the executive team.
 
Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team to support effective decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and propose appropriate actions.
  • Assess potential risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
Financial Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor and optimize the company's capital structure and financing activities.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and profitability assessment.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, performance metrics, and forecasts to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and tax obligations.
  • Oversee internal and external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with other departments.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a manufacturing, construction or high growth company.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to align financial objectives with the overall business strategy.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in financial analysis tools, ERP systems, and MS Office suite.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a finance team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
