How often do you get to truly make a difference in the world?
Our client, Pathways to Education, has a mission to break the cycle of poverty through the power of education. They provide resources and a network of support for youth in low-income communities to help them graduate from high school and build the foundation for a successful future.
As Chief Innovation Officer you will be on the leading edge of evolving education as we know it today. This role isn’t about fixing something that is broken – the existing Pathways to Education program is extremely successful. This role is about completely re-imagining the solution to deliver a sustainable future program to break the cycle of poverty on a national (potentially international) basis with 10x the impact and results.
Can you help re-imagine the future? Working directly with the Chair, board, and executive team, you’ll have a healthy innovation budget, and an incredible network of academic and influential people nationally and across the globe. It’s a blank slate of possibility. This isn’t your typical not-for-profit position; we’re looking for an innovator, thought leader and strategic change agent that wants to solve big world problems. Your goal is to leverage your talents and these resources to make a meteoric social impact on Canada’s 700,000 disadvantaged students and possibly millions of students in the world.
Pathways to Education has already helped more than 10,000 students across Canada to succeed. As CIO you’ll help ideate how to exponentially improve this metric. Your work will be critical to Canada’s economic success as you positively impact the futures of Canada’s next generation of students and employees. The result will resonate through time as a catalyst of change.
You’re a ‘what if’ kind of person. And you know how to solve problems. Coming from a background in consulting, start-ups, product, social or even data sciences, you’ve already demonstrated a history of innovation and entrepreneurial leadership. You know how to reflect, assess, evolve and extrapolate big ideas. And you know how to dismiss, nurture or expand these ideas to support and evolve your thinking (or generate an entirely new tangential option).
If this is you, we want to talk. Come help us make a difference in the world.
