Our client is one of the most well-known firms in Western Canada and we are currently searching for a key team-member to join their Commercial Real Estate practice group in their Vancouver office.
If you are a
Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with a minimum of 5+ years of experience, this is an excellent opportunity to join an established, reputable, and hard-working team.
What you'll be doing: - Conducting thorough reviews of commercial contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, easements, rights of way, subdivisions, and strata plan filings.
- Drafting various documents pertaining to the acquisition, sale, financing, and development of commercial properties.
- Performing due diligence searches, analyzing the results, and preparing comprehensive summaries.
- Creating closing agendas and handling all necessary documentation throughout the entire process of commercial real estate transactions.
- Managing the registration of documents and security in land title offices and other relevant government registries.
- Facilitating communication and coordination among all parties involved in the transaction, including preparing correspondence.
- Examining and responding to incoming correspondence.
Qualifications: - Possessing a minimum of 7 years of experience in a downtown law firm setting. Holding a paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of the land title registration requirements in British Columbia.
- Capable of multitasking, meeting deadlines, and resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Displaying both independent work capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Exhibiting excellent organizational and time management skills
- Providing exceptional customer service in a professional, mature, and courteous manner.
- Highly reliable and adaptable, with a strong work ethic.
- Possessing exceptional interpersonal skills.
