Job Description

About the Foundation

The Upside Foundation of Canada brings the Canadian tech & innovation community together to do good.  Founders building scaling tech companies who want to change the world join The Upside Foundation to find a group of like-minded peers, connect with people who want to support their business (investors and major industry players), embed giving back into the DNA of their company and commit to a donation once their company is successful.

Over 200 companies have pledged to donate stock options or warrants, which, upon a successful liquidity event, convert to a donation to the charity of their choice.  So far, 5 member companies have had liquidity events, leading to over $200,000 being donated to 7 different charities across the country.

The Upside Foundation is deeply embedded in the Canadian tech & innovation community, attending all major events, partnering with key industry players, led by industry veterans and leaders on the Board of Directors, and enjoying broad support across the industry.
