Our client is a global Medical Communications firm who is seeking a Head of Business Development. The successful candidate will bring a track record of success in identifying and unlocking net new business opportunities across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East selling in to the pharmaceutical, medical device, medicinal cannabis and veterinary health arena.
As a critical hire to take the business to the next level you will be the driving force behind the most significant evolution of the company’s growth since their launch. You will be responsible for operationalizing the business development strategy with new clients and building upon the firm’s reputation as a high-quality provider of innovative medical communications products and services.
Reporting to the CEO, the ideal candidate will be based in Canada OR the UK and bring a wealth of experience on a global scale. The position requires strong sales and business acumen, external focus and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proven, verifiable track record of negotiating and closing high value agreements involving strategic business relationships is a must. The ideal candidate must be capable of interfacing independently with the client influencers whether they be senior executives and/or procurement officers.
