Each year in North America roughly 10 million tons of furniture and equipment end up in landfills. Our client, Green Standards, is an award-winning, industry-leading firm focused on addressing this waste issue by managing largescale corporate decommissioning projects for some of the largest organizations in the world, including many Fortune 100 corporations.

Green Standards is looking for an exceptional Head of Sales to accelerate its already rapid growth. They aim to double their sales over the next three years.

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Sales will be expected to:

  • Take ownership of achieving annual sales and growth targets, including global expansion.
  • Craft the Green Standards sales team (currently a team of six, based in North America) into a powerhouse group of strategic sellers: coaching, support, goal setting, performance reviews, hiring and training, etc.
  • Maximize the impact of various existing channel partner relationships, quickly coming to own high-level stewardship of these relationships while identifying and building out new strategic partnerships.
  • Innovate broadly, continuously seeking new lead sources and refinements to the sales process, as well as participating in R&D and ongoing innovation of our core offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with other department heads – marketing, operations, finance – to grow sales while maintaining a high level of client service and a cohesive cross-departmental team culture.
  • Work with executive leadership to report on already established KPIs covering sales and business operations: YTD performance, client success, maintaining an accurate forecast, etc.
  • Extract and present sharp, coherent insights from these reports; contribute to business planning.
  • As part of the executive team – along with the CEO and three other department heads – participate enthusiastically in strategic planning and business oversight activities.
