IQ PARTNERS Inc. is currently looking to hire an Infrastructure Specialist for our Digital Financial Services client in downtown Toronto for an exciting Full-time permanent job opportunity in which you will be responsible for managing and providing full infrastructure support to the organization.  

Compensation: $80k-$110k based on experience + additional perks

Job Description

• Provide Systems Administration, Network and Security Operations support. Troubleshooting and working closely with Vendors as well as supporting internal users.
• Managing load balancers, firewalls and deployments.
• Create infrastructure roadmaps, map business requirements to technology
• Creating high level design of infrastructure. 
• Deploy and manage on Azure infrastructure
• Develops and designs proof of concepts and systems, improvement processes, does testing together with suppliers and subcontractors 
• Create tooling and automation needed
• Participate in daily SCRUM meetings
• Provisioning of our internal office including environment, desktops, telephony, office automation, development environments, and productivity tools.

Requirements

• Post-secondary school education and/or equivalent on the job experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure delivery ideally within the digital service delivery space, consulting, or finance/insurance vertical.
• Experience with AWS / Azure / MS Dynamics 365 / Office 365 and Skype services
• Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
• VPN and Network integration experience
• Excellent verbal and written, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work successfully within functional and cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications.
• Knowledge of configuration of highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web scale software deployments.
• Actively involved in compliance conversations
• Available to work extended hours into the evening when required and on-call throughout the week
