Marketing & Communications Specialist - iGaming

Location: Oakville, Ontario
Reports to: Director of iGaming and Director of Marketing 

The Marketing & Communications Specialist - iGaming is a key role within the iGaming team. Reporting to the Director of iGaming and Director of Marketing, the Marketing & Communications Specialist – iGaming is primarily responsible for the development, execution, and day-to-day management of marketing campaign strategies to drive registration and customer retention. This position requires strong cross-team leadership, superior organizational skills, and attention to detail, as well as creative solutioning and data-driven thinking to deliver against objectives. Working closely with the iGaming and marketing team, you will help build and maintain creative and innovative strategies with strong and consistent programs through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders and partners, while prioritizing workflow.
  • Develop and execute a variety of marketing programs that drive customer acquisition and engagement, supporting overall company objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic integrated campaigns to successfully drive awareness, customer acquisition and retention, while supporting the Company’s brand image and ultimately, increasing the company’s profile as a leader and innovator in the iGaming industry
  • Be the brand standards authority.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and promotional materials and communicate results to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure new and existing programs fulfill specific marketing and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee project budgets and approval of various aspects of projects including design, content, and placement.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns (ROI and KPIs) to gain insight and assess effectiveness while continually working to refine marketing programs, campaigns and budgets based on in-depth analysis of results.
  • Perform and analyze ongoing research within the industry to better understand customer needs and expectations.

Skills and Experience:
  • 5 years marketing experience
  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or Business
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills with the ability to partner will all levels of the organization.
  • High level of planning, organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects within specified timeframes.
  • Experience in the development and execution of marketing communication plans including advertising, event management, digital and website development.
  • A proactive team player who can positively react to changing priorities with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in iGaming and the online space is an asset.
