Our Client is a well-known, mid-size, global PR Agency located in the heart of Downtown, Toronto.

About The Job

  • Act as primary contact to clients, continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on an ongoing basis; anticipate and address clients’ needs
  • Lead the strategy, planning and execution of client programs
  • Troubleshoot clients problems as they arise; seek senior management input whenever appropriate
  • Managing, mentoring and coaching junior staff through constructive feedback, goal setting and consistent communication
  • Assist account team(s) in working effectively and in the best interest of client(s)
  • Superb writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and love of the written word
  • Strive to develop the best communication and presentation skills possible to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others
  • Oversee account profitability by managing client budgets, tracking the utilization of account team members and ensuring key programs are executed on time and within budget
  • Work with account team(s) to build incremental business
  • Take an active role in pursuing new business opportunities



  • Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
  • Minimum of ten years of agency and/or public relations experience
  • Demonstrated track record in building strong client relationships and delivering programs that exceeded anticipated results
  • Proven track record in growing business
  • Direct experience in building and managing teams
  • Broad-based exposure to all skill areas, including proposal planning, writing and presentations, media relations, influencer relations, social and digital campaigns
