Senior Digital Project Manager

Job Description

Our client is a digital-first creative agency, located in Vancouver, BC. They work exclusively with entertainment brands to help them build forward thinking digital products, platforms and experiences.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to lead the project management function for the agency. This role can be done from Vancouver or 100% remotely from any Canadian city as long as you are available PST working hours.

The Senior Digital Project Manager is a client-facing, hands-on role that will manage and mentor two direct reports. In this role you’ll work closely with creative, strategy and technology teams to deliver exceptional creative products for the agency’s clients.

You’ll be relied upon for your strong digital project delivery expertise, resourcefulness, efficiency and thought leadership. This is a highly visible and critical role with a clear and specific growth path within the company.

What’s required:

• 8+ years agency experience planning, managing and delivering digital projects
• A deep understanding of, and passion for, web, mobile, CRM and digital advertising
• Experience in a client-facing role, and a strong level of comfort presenting internally and to client stakeholders
• Experience leading and mentoring other project coordinators/managers
• Experience developing comprehensive and precise project estimates and timelines, and a strong track record of success delivering complex digital projects
• Demonstrated ability to effectively track project plans, anticipate risk and make suitable and timely adjustments when necessary
• Experience with agile project management and modern project management software
• Experience leading focused and productive meetings

• Champion project management best practices across the agency and lead discussions related to schedule, scope, risk and budget
• Provide guidance to project teams and ensure they are meeting project plans, timelines and goals
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide an exceptional level of service and timely delivery of high quality product
• Develop systems and standards for existing and future projects
• Impeccable meeting management, ensuring that all parties have a clear understanding of tasks
• Effectively manage risk, planned or unplanned changes during the course of a project to bring things back on track
• Maintain positive team relationships both internally and externally
