Pathways to Education Canada is seeking a passionate, cause-driven Senior Marketing Manager to join their growing marketing and communications team.  

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this is a newly created role that will help drive, implement and monitor innovative marketing strategies to increase awareness and attract potential donors and partners for Pathways to Education Canada.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on, forward thinking marketer who understands what it takes to drive engagement and acquisition. As part of the marketing team, you will bring new marketing ideas to the table that will increase awareness nationally and support the acquisition of new donors and revenue channels. 

You are a proven marketer who gets excited by working on projects that make an impact. Ideally, you have experience working with cause-driven organizations and understand what it takes to drive awareness through marketing programs; whether it be in an agency environment or working for a non-profit.

  • Lead the implementation of innovative marketing campaigns in line with company objectives, marketing and communications strategy, and budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to effectively drive marketing strategies, tactics and processes.
  • Oversee marketing programs including briefings, creative development, data management and timelines.
  • Manage third party suppliers including agencies, designers and production managers.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing and communications activities, branding and web initiatives, and social media campaigns.
  • Increase awareness of the Pathways organization resulting in new potential prospects and donors.


  • Successful track record of building marketing programs that aim to grow a national brand. 5-7 years’ experience developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies and acquisition campaigns. This includes creative development, data management, oversight of production process and managing budgets
  • Proven history of managing marketing plans that drive acquisition through social, digital, advertising and content initiatives
  • Thorough knowledge of creative development process including briefing, evaluation of concepts and production techniques
  • Proven ability to analyze direct marketing results, statistically and qualitatively including experience using relational databases
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven organizational abilities and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Proven ability to take initiative and carry projects to completion with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Bilingual (French / English) an asset
