Our client is a digital-first creative agency, located in Vancouver, BC. They work exclusively with entertainment brands to help them build forward thinking digital products, platforms and experiences.
This role can be located in Vancouver or 100% remotely from Toronto as long as there's reasonable overlap of working hours with Pacific Time. This is a full-time permanent position.
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Strategist to join our client's team. In this role, you’ll work closely with creative, project management and technology teams to develop comprehensive digital and social strategies for the agency’s clients across a variety of projects including websites, digital advertising, social media and CRM.
You’ll be relied upon for your thought leadership and deep expertise in the digital and social space to inspire high quality creative work that drives tangible business results for the agency's clients.
What’s required:
5+ years of agency experience developing digital & social strategy for enterprise brands
Strong understanding of consumer audiences and their behaviours online
Strong understanding of web design, user experience and usability best practices
Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to leverage them to accomplish different business objectives
Experience developing and executing against a customer journey map and effectively informing decisions and tactics at each touchpoint
Proficiency with web reporting and analytics programs (i.e. Google Analytics)
A finger on the pulse of evolving trends in technology, social platforms and culture
Strong written communication, oral presentation and interpersonal skills
Comfortable presenting ideas internally and to client stakeholders
Experience developing 1:1/CRM strategy is an asset
Excellent time and priority management skills
Your responsibilities:
Collaborate with project management, creative and technology teams develop and implement digital and social strategies
Leverage data sources to uncover insights about target audiences and their behaviours online, and translate them into actionable strategies
Set KPIs and monitor performance to derive learnings, justify strategic recommendations, evaluate and evolve digital programs
Conduct market research, trend and competitive analysis
Write creative briefs, facilitate brainstorms and provide ongoing guidance through the creative process to ensure alignment with strategic brand communication objectives
Develop strong relationships with clients and agency partners
Seek out new opportunities for digital and social engagement for the agency’s clients’ brands, identifying new technologies and sourcing innovative partners and offerings
Assist in new business pitches to grow the agency’s client base
Develop content and social strategies that will contribute to elevating the agency’s public profile and thought leadership
