Help Canada’s fast growing boutique Real Estate Concierge take their social media presence to the next level!

Our client is seeking a Social Media Manager to join the team to develop and drive their social media presence. From strategy and content creation to execution and analytics, we are looking for an experienced social media native to grow our company brand and personal brand profiles. We are looking for a creative and results oriented partner who can bring new ideas to the table, and has the gravitas to sell through to senior management. You know what kind of content engages and have the support of a videographer to develop it.

Ideally you have experience in the real estate industry but most importantly you are known as a creator of successful campaigns that gain followers, likes and community engagement.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cross-channel social media strategy for multiple brands under the company banner with a focus on growing each individual social media channel.
  • Community management and engagement - develop responsive messages and adapt brand and campaign key messages for community management responses;
  • Monitor channel posts, page engagements and direct message inboxes to ensure all queries are addressed and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Own the social media editorial calendar and administrative functions across all social channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc., including drafting and posting compelling social content designed to drive engagement and traffic to company websites
  • Understand the unique strengths and opportunities on each social media channel, what drives performance and how to scale engagement and followers.
  • You know the role of social media in a broader marketing plan and aim to drive performance based on business goals.
  • Experience in leveraging social listening insights from community engagement and developing content & recommendations based on those learnings
  • Deliver insights on content and channel performance and provide recommendations for content and channel optimization.
  • You are proficient with graphic design elements and work with our videographer to develop social-first assets (images, video, gifs, etc) in alignment with our design standards and brand look and feel.
  • Audience building, targeting, ad formats, and analytics come second nature to you.
  • You understand the native analytics offered within each channel and leverage these insights to manage over channel growth and performance to meet business goals.
  • You are proficient with test and learn strategies (A/B tests, creative tests, etc). and how to measure effectiveness and optimize based on results.
  • You will report on organic and paid content performance, channel growth metrics, social media brand sentiment, and overall social media performance.
  • You act as the administrative function for all social media channels, optimizing channels for findability, updating header images and page content, writing YouTube video descriptions for SEO value, creating Twitter lists and managing followers, creating channels playlists, albums, etc.
  • You ensure our channels are well maintained and managed and positively reflect the company’s brand values, tone of voice, and look and feel to our social media audience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • University degree or diploma in Social Media or Digital Marketing
  • 3-5+ years of experience planning, creating, implementing and measuring brand appropriate social media campaigns
  • Social Media Expert on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong writing and presentation ability
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs and rapidly growing company
  • Reliable, strong work ethic
  • Creative collaborator but able to hit-the-ground running, and work independently as needed
  • Excellent attitude and committed to providing extraordinary service
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit

Key Attributes for Success:

  • Have a finger on the pulse of the social media landscape, an opinion on what channels the business should be on and the ability to educate senior leadership on the why.
  • Proven track record of engagement on campaigns and growth of social media accounts.
  • Ability to manage up and carve your own niche within this fast paced, growth oriented firm.
