Our client, Niagara Entertainment Inc. (Niagara Casinos / Fallsview), is hiring for a Vice President of IT. 


  • Responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and successful operation of the Information Technology department.
  • Works with the Executive and Operations Leaders to build digital discipline across the enterprise – not just in IT.
  • Delivers on customer engagement and end user experience.
  • Designs and executes efficient systems architecture to maximize ROI and minimize costs.
  • Leads the development and execution of the IT strategic plan in collaboration with operations and the IT Leadership team.
  • Aligns IT priorities and projects with strategic business objectives and resources.
  • Ensures timelines, scope of projects and budgets are consistently achieved.
  • accurate and timely forecasts and budget information to the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Maintains the integrity, reliability, and security of all systems and builds organization awareness and strength in cyber-security.
  • Promotes a performance-based culture within IT focused on delivering excellent customer service to all departments.
  • Ensures new systems and system upgrade projects adhere to our IT policies and industry best practices.
  • Ensures effective and efficient IT policies and procedures are maintained, audited and enhanced.
  • Defines and improves all system and network operations processes.
  • Ensures timely and accurate delivery of technology products and services.
  • Works closely with Purchasing to interact and negotiate with vendors to procure cost effective technology products and services.
  • Negotiates contracts with manufacturers for all software, hardware and consulting services, hold vendors accountable for delivery of products.
  • Manages positive external vendor relationships and services.
  • Maintains a high level of technical expertise and knowledge of current products.
  • Researches and leverages new technologies to transform business outcomes from AI and ML to process automation.
  • Recommends new technology products and services to add value to our customers and enhance the organization/business.
  • Provides leadership coaching, career development and professional guidance to team members to ensure future succession planning.
  • Builds company reputation by earning trust and loyalty and shares knowledge and information regarding the organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills and demonstrates respect, regard and consideration for others.
  • Works as part of a team for the success of the business. Exhibits attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties.
  • Adheres to compliance and workplace policies, internal control procedures, and AGCO directives.
  • Develops and monitors control activities to exceed the AGCO standards and requirements.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
