Having co-founded IQ PARTNERS in 2001, Randy now leads four specialty teams; technology, digital media, sales, and mining & engineering.
A native of Kingston and a graduate of Queen’s University, Randy moved to Toronto in the mid-eighties to pursue a career in marketing communications with AC Nielsen and Leo Burnett, wherein he worked with clients like Warner-Lambert, Robin Hood, and Seagrams. He then spent five years in software application sales in the logistics industry before entering the world of executive search, where he found his passion.
Randy now has 20+ years of search business experience, having run his own small firm before joining Bruce Powell to co-found IQ PARTNERS. He believes strongly in the old adage that “persistence overcomes resistance” and will dig in any corner to find the best person for a client.
His accomplishments include building over a dozen digital media sales teams for publishers, digital start-ups, and mobile app developers. He has also helped build an international smartphone manufacturer’s hardware, software, and sales teams.
