Our client is a prominent law firm in downtown Toronto. They are looking for an experienced Family Law Clerk to add to their team, for a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and analyzing financial statements and disclosures
- Drafting, preparing, and revising correspondence and legal documents (pleadings, affidavits, conference briefs, etc.)
- Communicate regularly with lawyers, clients, opposing counsel, etc.
- Compiling court documents (conference briefs, motion materials, etc.)
- Assist in the preparation of briefs and records for mediations, trials, examinations, and motions
- Scheduling lawyers' calendars with appointments, mediations, discoveries, pre-trials, trials, motions, Zoom meetings, etc.
Experience:
- 6+ years of Family Law litigation experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Family Law rules and procedures
- Team player attitude with excellent verbal and written communication
This a replacement role; Expected Compensation Range $80,000 - $120,000
