Bid & Proposal Manager to lead our tender, proposal, and government procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, transit, municipal, or government procurement sectors and possess strong project management, organizational, and writing skills.
What you will be doing - Must have RFP/RFQ and tendering documents experience identifying key requirements & evaluation criteria. You will be preparing contracts, proposals, quotes & internal approvals. Ability to manage the full tender/bid lifecycle from start to completion with schedules & timelines
- Support preparation for sales proposals, presentations, quotes, invoices and contracts to customers ensuring all submissions meet technical, legal, and compliance requirements
- Monitor and identify tender opportunities through procurement platforms and government portals
- Developing professional proposal documents that align with client requirements and company standards. This includes proposal schedules/timelines both internally and externally
- Liaise between sales, operations, and finance, coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather technical specifications, pricing data, and compliance documentation
- Maintaining a centralized database of bid responses, templates, certifications, pricing information and other supporting documents
- Tracking bid success rates and maintaining detailed records boilerplate content of submission outcomes
- Maintaining organized sales records and reporting month-end goal setting to the senior management team
- Coordinate pricing/costing information, identify risks and opportunities and compliance requirements
- All other tasks as assigned
Who we are looking for - Min. 3 years of relevant experience in bid management, proposal management, tender submissions and/or government procurement
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask. A self-started with excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce, CRM/ERP(Salesforce) experience an asset
Compensation:
- $85-!05K
