Vice President, Sales

Location: GTA, Canada

Position Summary The Vice President of Sales will lead the organization's sales strategy, execution, and performance across Ontario. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building long-term client relationships within the healthcare products and equipment sector. The Vice President will oversee sales operations, develop high-performing teams, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets across Ontario.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed individual and team performance goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain community-based sales representatives to support regional growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, clinics, hospitals, long-term care organizations, and other customer groups.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand product penetration across existing and emerging customer segments.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop initiatives that generate qualified leads and strengthen market presence.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics, forecasts, and market trends to optimize strategies and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure sales practices comply with applicable healthcare, retail, and industry regulations.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to align sales initiatives with product availability and customer service objectives.
  • Negotiate supplier and vendor agreements to maximize value and support business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within healthcare, medical products, medical equipment, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape and customer purchasing dynamics.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms and sales performance management tools.

This position is a replacement.  The base salary for the role is between 150k - 200k with a performance bonus.
