The Director of Client Acquisition role is to grow our client,
MCA – Merchandising Consultants Associates’, business in the marketplace. This is a business development role where you enjoy negotiating and gaining new incremental business.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: - You understand the CPG industry and have a good rolodex of retailers and manufacturers.
- An active listener, with a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.
- Goal oriented and motivated to succeed with a proven track record of successful customer acquisition.
- Able to adapt and develop solutions to client’s needs with clear and decisive communication.
- Entrepreneurially minded, driven, naturally curious and have a desire to learn.
- Highly comfortable networking and building valuable relationships and partnerships with new and existing customers in this growing and disruptive industry.
- Stay in tune with the competitive landscape and retailer execution initiatives
- Adept at leveraging your superior communication skills to develop strong relationships both internally and externally.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - 7 years of account management and business development experience in the CPG industry
- Superior lead generation capabilities with a good network of retailers and manufacturers in the marketplace
- Skilled/professional at both technical and business presentations.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Well organized with great follow-up
- Enthusiastic, positive leader with good computer skills
