The Opportunity:
This position focuses primarily on the management of our client’s Digital & Creative Services team and agency business development with strong creative and strategic programming experience.

The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity and passion for all things digital and social with experience in content creation, analytics, and digital strategy. This individual must also have proven account mgmt. skills and take an active role in strategically driving digital account work and building client relationships.

We’re looking for a self-directed, seasoned and growth-oriented colleague who understands business strategy and can contribute to and expand the ongoing growth and development of our client’s team and practice. The candidate must demonstrate a passion for people management by mentoring, motivating, teaching and coaching others.
This person will be responsible for guiding a team towards crafting compelling digital first narratives that captivate audiences, drives results, and unlocks new revenue streams through innovative strategies. This is an exciting position at a fast-moving independent agency aimed at always delivering best in class services and experiences for our client’s clients.

Leadership & Team Management:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the content team, fostering a collaborative, innovative and creative work environment
• Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential
• Oversee the hiring, training, and performance management processes for the content team, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver high-quality work
• Collaborate with the leadership team and key stakeholders to contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the company as a whole
 
Strategy & Program Offerings:
• Develop and implement content strategies aligned with client objectives and target audience needs
• Identify opportunities for new content offerings and program enhancements to drive growth and innovation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate content initiatives into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to inform content strategy development and optimization efforts
 
Client Management:
• Act as a strategic and creative partner to clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges to provide tailored content solutions that drive results and foster long-term partnerships
• Mentor and empower team members to effectively navigate client interactions, providing guidance and support in managing client expectations and needs
• Address potential contentions and roadblocks with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach, leveraging strong communication skills to mitigate issues and maintain positive client relationships
 
Upsells, Growth, & Profitability:
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional content services or expand existing programs to drive revenue growth
• Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize content strategies for maximum impact
• Ensure content initiatives are delivered on time and within budget

10+-plus years experience

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and manage client relationships
• Demonstrated ability to analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize content strategies
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and adapt to evolving industry trends and best practices
• A track record of planning and delivering large content volumes across a variety of verticals and content types on time meeting quality standards
 
Experience:
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role, with a track record of successfully leading teams and driving results
• Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service
• Agency experience is required
• This is a hybrid role with the individual expected to be in the office 2-3 days/week
