Alex Blandford

Alex Blandford is a Senior Director on the Marketing Services team, focused primarily in advertising and design with a specialization in creative and strategy.

Prior to joining IQ PARTNERS, Alex worked in Media and Entertainment, where she focused on in-house recruitment. In this capacity, Alex learned the other side of the coin, gaining a strong understanding of the challenges faced by hiring managers while also gaining a solid foundation in recruitment best practices.

Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Research with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University. Being a student of psychology solidified her fascination with understanding how people operate - she has the ability to empathetically get to the root of what makes people "tick". Alex is motivated by helping companies find the best people for the job, and helping people find the right environment for them to succeed in.
