Money is always a consideration when considering career paths. One of the reasons people get into finance is they like working with money and they like to make money, as well. While you can expect to be compensated well if you work in finance and accounting, some jobs pay better than others. Therefore, it’s important to understand which jobs pay well when defining your career path.
Based on data compiled from LinkedIn, Business Insider compiled a list of the best paying jobs in Finance.
Aine Cain explains how the list was compiled:
“The jobs are all taken from the banking, capital markets, financial services, insurance, investment banking, investment management, venture capital, and private equity industries. C-suite titles were nixed from the search. LinkedIn calculated median base salaries, as well as median total salaries, which included additional compensation like annual bonuses, sign-on bonuses, stock options, and commission.”
