If you are going to make a career move, it’s important that you make the right move for you now and in the future. No one wants to regret making the jump to a new job or company soon after they start their new role. So, if you are in the position to make a career move in the finance industry, it’s a good idea to do some research and identify the roles and companies that will provide you with the best opportunity.
LinkedIn recently analyzed their data to determine the most promising jobs in finance for 2017. They looked at salary, the potential to be promoted, the number of job openings for a specific position, job growth rate, top skill requirements, and regional availability of positions.
LinkedIn explains how they created the list of finance jobs:
“To create this list of the Most Promising Finance Jobs of 2017, we evaluated the jobs in the finance industry with high median salaries, healthy job openings and year-over-year growth, and the jobs most likely to lead to a promotion or advancement within an organization.”
As you can see, the list has a good mix of traditional and tech-based positions. As technology becomes more prominent in finance, and all other industries, expect the number of jobs requiring technology acumen to increase.
